Sun City Golf Holiday

A 7 night South Africa golf holiday staying at the Palace of the Lost City Hotel in Sun City. Enjoy 5 nights B&B accommodation with 4 rounds of golf at Sun City, including the Gary Player Country Club Course, and a game drive into the nearby Pilanesberg National Park.  

Day 1: Departure day
Depart on your Golfing Holiday to South Africa on the overnight flight to Johannesburg.

Day 2: Johannesburg – Sun City
Arrive at Johannesburg Airport where you will be met and transferred to Sun City, approximately 2 hour drive.  Check in at the Palace of the Lost City, Sun City’s premier accommodation. Spend the rest of the day relaxing by the pool or explore the facilities around the resort.

The Sun City Resort is an up market adult’s playground and offers guests a variety of entertainment to choose from: casinos, cabarets, spa and wellness centres, safari and game drives, the Valley of the Waves water park, water sports such as jet skis, 2 Gary Player signature golf courses and much, much more.  You will play two rounds on both these world famous championship golf courses, The Lost City Golf Course and the Gary Player Country Club Golf Course.

The Gary Player Country Club Course is consistently voted one of the top golf courses in South Africa and a firm favourite with our clients on a golfing holiday in South Africa. It is famous for hosting the Nedbank Challenge each November, the first golf tournament in the world to offer $1 million dollars prize money.

When you’re not on the course or using the sports facilities at Sun City, you can simply relax and revitalise in the award winning spa at the Palace. There are over 20 restaurants in the resort serving everything from steaks to sushi and from elegant dining to sandwich bars. Every taste is catered for. It is also home to one of the largest casinos in the southern hemisphere, offering American Roulette, Blackjack, Punto Bunco and a variety of slot machine games.

The nearby Pilanesberg Game Reserve is home to Africa’s Big 5 of Lion, Rhino, Elephant, Leopard and Buffalo. Choose from a morning or an evening escorted game drive into the Park.  We can pre book additional game drives for you, or for something really special, how about a Hot Air balloon safari over the Pilanesberg Game Reserve with a champagne breakfast?

Day 7: Departure Day
You final day of the golfing holiday – play one final round and relax by the pool before you are collected and transferred back to Johannesburg Airport for the evening flight home.
