Hermanus Lodge on the Green is nestled in the foothills of the majestic Overberg mountain range and is perfect for exploring the nearby town of Hermanus. The 7 beautifully appointed en suite bedrooms are spacious and individually decorated, with a balcony or patio and some with views of the fairways. They are located on the ground and first floor of the property. Your stay includes a home-cooked breakfast as you watch the early morning golfers making their way onto the nearby green.

During the winter months of June-November guests can enjoy walks along the unique 12 kilometre cliff path where it is not uncommon to see a mother whale and her new-born calf coming within metres of the rocky shoreline. Late afternoons can be spent in the comfortable lounge with its inviting open fireplace.

The sun-drenched swimming pool has a magnificent mountain view, the perfect place to spend a summer’s afternoon, and the private courtyard, overlooked by the Fernkloof Nature Reserve, is perfect for that summer sun-downer aperitif.

Hermanus Lodge on the Green is also the perfect base when attending festivals like the Hermanus FynArts Festival, Hermanus Whale Festival or Kalfiefees. You can explore the wonderful Hermanus Wine Route by using the shuttle from town, meaning you can leave the car behind.

For golfers, the 27 hole Hermanus Golf Club is right next door, a wonderful course that is very welcoming to overseas visitors.
