Heritage Le Telfair Golf and Wellness Resort

Infused with the charm of its sugar plantation history, the refined Heritage Le Telfair Hotel reflects a bye gone era and colonial style. Part of the Bel Ombre Nature Reserve, on the south west coast of Mauritius the hotel is set in tropical gardens through which the Citronniers River meanders. It is one of three hotels located in the reserve, each offering slightly different accommodation styles, but sharing some of the facilities.

There are 158 spacious suites housed in 20 separate villa buildings, each decorated in an elegant, contemporary style to provide a luxurious haven for relaxation.

Each villa houses between 6 to 8 suites over two floors, the ground floor suites offering spacious terraces and the 1st floor large private balconies. Each suite has a large bathroom with a bath and separate shower, a four poster bed, flat screen TV with full entertainment system, air conditioning, ceiling fan, mini bar and complimentary tea and coffee making facilities. An attentive yet discreet 24 hour butler service is also available in each of the suites at Le Telfair.

Dining
Guests have access to 12 restaurants and eight bars across all of the hotels in the the Domaine de Bel Ombre complex. At Heritage Le Telfair itself, there there’s a wonderful selection of dining including Annabella’s on the banks of the river with an interactive show-kitchen, and Gin’Ja serving Pan Asian cuisine on the beach. Treat yourself to a local Mauritian inspired meal at Le Chateau de Bel Ombre, an enchanting 19th-century manor house, or head to the trendy ‘C’ Beach Club.

The Seven Colours Spa is a serene haven, with treatments to harmonise body, mind and energy. There are two lovely pools, with access to an additional pool at C Beach Club, water sports of every description (some complimentary) and a nearby 9 hole and 18 hole championship golf course at the Heritage Golf Club courses. Green fees are complimentary and  unlimited although this is set to change from 1st February 2019 when a small charge will be introduced. (It will remain complimentary if you take up the Full All Inclusive package) Golf Carts, clubs and pull trolleys are available to hire.
