Just a short drive from the bustle of Cape Town, are the fertile valleys which encompass the wine regions. The picture-postcard towns of the Winelands are characterised by their distinctive white washed Cape Dutch style buildings. In Stellenbosch there is a wide variety of hotels and guest houses to choose from, both in the town and on the outskirts. If you prefer to leave the car behind, River Manor and Summerwood Guest House are centrally located so that you can walk to the restaurants and shops in the centre of town.
